The «Lucho U» Project is a highly prospective area for Uranium-Vanadium mineralization. Cretaceous-Tertiary sedimentary rocks overlies basement; generating exploration targets for «unconformity-related» «sandstone» and «surficial» uranium deposits types. (the later similar to IVANA deposit).
The region is dominated by metamorphic rocks of precambrian age (basement). In «Lucho U», in the area known as «Bardas de Lucho» outcrop rocks of Cretaceous age (sandstones, clays and marls), overlayed by a Tertiary unit (sandstones, conglomerates and agglomerates). Both sedimentary sequences lays unconformable over the basement creating a highly positive geological environment for hosting Uranium mineralization.
In “Lucho U” project with 10.000has there are important “air radimetric anomalies”, just are there are in the IVANA deposit.
